Frequently asked questions
1. How long do sessions go for?
The first session typically goes for slightly over an hour, solely because there will be a lot of information to pass on to you regarding training as well as nutrition. After the first session, you can expect most sessions to be completed within 45 - 60 minutes or so not including pre-training warm ups and assessments. I do not charge for any excess time past 60 minutes.
2. Where is your studio located?
Please find my studio location by hovering over the contact page and clicking on .
3. Why do you not offer mobile training?
I would love to, but unfortunately as I do Personal Training full-time, my schedule is very tight everyday with 1 on 1 and partnered sessions running everyday throughout the week (including weekends) at my studio.
It would be impossible to make the drive out and back in time for my next session. Rest assured if you do make it to my studio, you will not be disappointed, as I literally have everything you need in my studio. Please have a look at FAQ Question 8.
4. What are your rates?
I offer a large variety of training packages that suit the needs of different trainees. Either ranging from a week by week basis or monthly, off-peak/peak times and frequency of sessions per week. Your best bet is to call me to organise a consult and that way we can have a chat to work out a plan/package that not only fits your training goals and needs but also flexibility to fit your budget.
5. What do I need to bring along with me to training?
All you'll need is a workout towel, a bottle of water and a positive attitude! :)
6. How quickly will I see results?
This is a hard question to answer, as it will largely depend on how committed and dedicated you are to achieving your goal(s) as well as what you start at (eg. a person with more bodyfat will lose more fat weekly than a slimmer person with less bodyfat). With that being said, you should expect to see positive changes every week as long as you are sticking to the plans provided.
7. I have/had a __________ injury before, will you be able to work around it?
Depending on the severity of the injury as well as your clearance to train, I won't have any problems with working around injuries. I have (and currently do) train plenty of clients with different types of injuries either from work or other accidents ranging from tendinitis, tennis elbows, various shoulder issues, knee problems as well as slipped discs/lower back issues.
8. I'd like to see what your studio looks like and what makes it better than others and/or a gym?
Everything in my studio be it something small and not noticeable at first glance OR equipment used on a daily basis, are all of top of the line and of high quality. When I designed my studio, I wanted to make a fun, comfortable and encouraging environment to train in. What's better motivation than looking forward to training at a studio gym rather than dreading it.

9. Great! When can I start?
I'm happy to start whenever you are! First thing you'll have to do is either give me a call or send me an email with your availability and I'll book you in for the first consult or session. If you have already decided and you'd like to start immediately, you can let me know and we can organize a time for your first session.
Please rest assured that I always make additional time available for your first sessions with no one booked directly after. This will give you peace of mind that your session will in no way be rushed and you can ask me as many questions as you like.
